BioI'm a graduate student in chemistry trying to balance saving the world and making a living. It only works some days.
Eventually, I hope to work in medicinal chemistry trying to design the next amazing wonder drug. I try to offset what's sure to be a corporate big-pharma life by doing volunteer work. Currently, I'm working with the Centre County Women's Resource Center doing domestic violence and sexual assault crisis work and generally lending a hand in the office or in shelter.
When I have free time, I like to crochet, knit, cook new things, read, and pretend that I can play the guitar. I'm vegetarian, although hardcore people would say I'm not really. I've got a rather strange sense of humor that some find endearing and most find horribly offensive.
And, by the way, I look damned good in safety glasses and a lab coat.
